Dana White, who was watching her closely at that time, signed her into the UFC strawweight division for December 2014; she was just turning 22. Rose has had highs and she's also had lows in her career, yet she has always come out on top. Rose took on Carla Esparza in April 2015 in the Women's Strawweight Title. Rose won the bout through a technical knockout, which occurred within three minutes in the initial round. It was the first ever women to compete for a title title with any of the major promotions in the world. Namajunas kept winning more victories, including two victories over Joanna Jedrzejczyk that earned her Best Performance of the Night award from UFC.
